At 72 Church, we stand on the timeless truth of God’s Word and the mission Jesus gave His followers. What we believe shapes how we live, love, and lead. These are the core convictions that define us:
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word — true, authoritative, and our final guide for faith and life. We don’t adjust Scripture to fit culture; we let Scripture shape us.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all things.
We believe Jesus is the Son of God — fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and is the only way to salvation.
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” — John 14:6
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, empowering us to live holy lives, understand truth, and carry out the mission of Jesus.
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It’s not earned by good works — it’s received as a gift through repentance and trust in Jesus.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works, so that no one can boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9
We believe the Church is not a building but the people of God, sent on mission to make disciples. We gather to worship, scatter to serve, and live to multiply the Kingdom.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” — Luke 10:2
We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus. We celebrate communion regularly to remember His sacrifice and proclaim His victory.
We believe that God designed marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s relationship with His Church. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be expressed within this covenant. All people are created in God’s image and are worthy of love, dignity, and respect, and we hold to biblical teaching as our authority for life and practice.
“‘Haven’t you read,’ he replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator “made them male and female,” and said, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh”?’” — Matthew 19:4–5
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. From conception to natural death, every person has inherent worth and dignity. As followers of Jesus, we are called to honor, protect, and defend life as a reflection of God’s heart and design.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:13–14
We believe Jesus has commissioned His followers to make disciples of all nations. We live with urgency, hope, and obedience as we await His promised return.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19
We’re not just a church with beliefs — we’re a movement shaped by them. Everything we do flows from these truths: how we gather, how we grow, and how we go into the world.
